My Experience
Apart from a few layovers in Paris, I have only been to the southern city of Toulon. During my time there I had crepes near the Cronstadt Wharf, bought some new clothes, and wandered around the Cours Lafayette Market. The scent of fresh lavender filled the streets, as well as burnt Nutella from the crepes. Everywhere I went there seemed to be stands of fresh fruit, and the town seemed to have a relaxed mindset, similar to what I have seen to other Mediterranean cities.
After meeting more people from France while studying in Denmark, I know I will be returning to France in the near future. I hope to get out of the Paris airport and see the city of light first-hand, as well as meet up with my friends in Northern France. But for now, je dois attendre.
